Human Resources HR Coordinator Aged Care

We proudly operate two fully accredited care facilities located in Coburg North and Mill Park, delivering high-quality care in a supportive, people-focused environment.
We now have an exciting opportunity for an HR Coordinator to join our team in a permanent part-time hybrid position (approx. 25 hours per week).
What we offer:
Flexible and Mutually negotiable work arrangements – For example:
3 weekdays per week, 9am to 5pm, or
5 shorter days, 9am to 3pm.
A hybrid work model – a blend of working from home and onsite across our Coburg North and Mill Park facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct initial investigations for staff incidents, performance management, and disciplinary processes.
* Liaise with external HR consulting firm for professional advice and guidance.
* Take minutes during staff-related meetings and maintain accurate records.
* Audit and monitor HR documentation to ensure compliance and currency.
* Draft and post job advertisements, and explore external recruitment opportunities.
* Assist with HR data collation for management meetings and prepare relevant reports.
* Stay up to date with aged care sector obligations, awards, EBA’s and Fair Work compliance, and provide mentorship to Management in these areas.
* Collaborate with our Marketing Manager on morale-boosting and staff engagement initiatives.
About You:
* A positive, proactive attitude with a genuine interest in supporting people.
* Previous experience in an HR support or coordinator role.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Intermediate to advanced computer skills particularly in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
* Relevant qualifications in HR or a related field (preferred but not essential).
