Holderness Academy & Sixth Form College is part of The Consortium Academy Trust. We are ambitious about the future – creating learning environments and excellence in teaching and learning that provide our children and young people with the best chance at a successful future. Coupled with this is the commitment, care, and investment in our people, who we believe are our greatest asset. If you are a team player who is looking for a varied and interesting new career opportunity within teaching, then we want to hear from you!
The appointed person will consistently deliver high-quality learning opportunities to young people, ensuring aspirational standards of behaviour, engagement and achievement are evident at all times, while contributing to the calm environment of the Academy. The successful candidate should have good subject knowledge along with a record of successful professional practice and be able to plan and deliver high quality teaching in a relevant specialist area.
Classroom teachers must ensure they work within the policies and procedures as laid out by the Trust and provide a good role model for young people, both in and out of the school environment. All teaching staff are expected to meet the national core standards for professionals at all times.
The appointed person will promote excellent behaviour and conduct, be committed to safeguarding and student welfare, and should also be keen to engage in the wider life of our community school.
