SUMMARY:
Seeking Assembly Techs that have a U.S. Passport and can travel for 2-3 weeks for training immediately after being hired. Candidates will be working in Stafford, VA once training is completed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of both electrical and mechanical assembly processes, and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.
As a key part of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling high-quality products that meet our rigorous standards, ensuring efficiency and precision in every step of the process.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assemble electro-mechanical components and subassemblies according to blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
2. Perform electrical wiring and testing of products to ensure functionality and quality.
3. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and automated equipment to complete assembly tasks accurately and efficiently.
4. Inspect components and finished assemblies for defects or irregularities, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
5. Collaborate with engineers and team members to resolve assembly issues and improve processes.
6. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols and company guidelines.
7. Assist with troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning units as needed.
8. Document assembly procedures, modifications, and quality checks for traceability.
9. Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and techniques.
10. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support team goals for production targets.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 3 years of experience in assembling electro-mechanical systems.
2. High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or relevant vocational training.
3. Proven experience in electro-mechanical assembly or a related field.
4. Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical assembly processes and techniques.
5. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
6. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
7. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
8. Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small components.
9. Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
10. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
11. Basic computer skills for documenting work and tracking assembly progress.
12. Familiarity with safety procedures and ability to follow them in a manufacturing environment.
13. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
14. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
