Here at PPL PRS we have an opportunity for a Live Music New Business Advisor to join the team. The role will grow revenue within the Live sector by identifying Live new business opportunities and ensuring the accurate licensing of new customers. To manage a monthly portfolio of Live Music Customers to support achievement of department targets.
To develop and maintain excellent business relationships with Live Music customers through regular contact phone, email, face to face.
Key responsibilities
* To proactively search for unlicensed venues, festivals and events using external data sources, as required to capture and collate the relevant information to license accurately
* To develop and maintain knowledge of sectors, to meet revenue targets. Building knowledge of core licensing processes and procedures including tariffs and Copyright Law & Legislation.
* To educate and advise customers, positively reinforcing benefits of music to their business. Ensuring that they understand and are adhering to the contractual licensing terms and conditions.
* To deliver a positive customer experience and proactively contribute to the department’s service standards and customer satisfaction results. Ensuring call quality targets are consistently achieved.
* To monitor inbound customer queries, using objection handling techniques to proactively resolve any customer queries.
* Effectively and efficiently obtain evidence of music usage for new customers.
* To ensure that Live Account customer details are captured and processed accurately and efficiently through ongoing customer interactions including taking payments when invoices are issued.
You will have
* Experienced in successfully working within a lead generation or sales targeted role, within a customer focused environment.
* Experience of working within a team
* Excellent communication skills by phone, letter, face to face or email
* Building and maintain effective customer relationships
* Competent using Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
* Experience of working with both internal and external customers to achieve goals
* Knowledge of licensing, tariffs, policies, distribution, and procedures is desired though not essential
* Selling and negotiation skills through communication and influencing
* Commercially aware and self-motivated with a desire to achieve results
* Ability to work on own initiative within a team
* Proactive, seeks new opportunities and embraces change
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment whilst making judgement-based decisions
* Well organised with attention to detail
