Location: Central Scotland – In and around Glasgow and Edinburgh!
Salary: £31,000 – £39,000 per year (based on experience) + on-call
Contract: Full-time, Permanent – Day shift (Monday to Friday)

Fire and Security Engineer – The Role
We are looking for an experienced Fire and Security Engineer with expertise in Intruder Alarms, Access Control, CCTV, and Fire Systems. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, customer-oriented, and take pride in delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Install, test, and maintain security systems, including intruder alarms, access control, CCTV, and fire systems.
2. Conduct inspections, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure systems operate effectively.
3. Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure seamless system integration.
4. Stay up to date with industry regulations, codes, and best practices related to security and fire systems.
Fire and Security Engineer – What we need from you
Experience & Skills Required:
1. Previous experience as a Security Engineer is essential.
2. Strong understanding of security and fire system installation and maintenance.
3. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot system faults.
4. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with team members and clients.
6. Good time management skills and a proactive approach to work.
Requirements:
1. Time-served Security Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship.
2. Full UK driving licence.
