Area Sales Manager - Control Valves (Power and Oil & Gas Sectors) We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Area Sales Manager to lead our sales activities in the Power and Oil & Gas sectors within a defined territory. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in control valves and a proven track record of driving sales growth through direct customer engagement and management of agents and distributors. Key Responsibilities: Achieve set budget targets and sales KPIs as annually defined Develop and maintain strong customer relationships within the assigned market, identifying key customer challenges that can be addressed with our product range Conduct regular customer and agent visits (minimum 3-4 days per week) to actively support sales in the sub-region Manage and implement sub-regional agent strategies to drive additional sales Support initiatives to grow the business within and, when necessary, beyond the assigned area of responsibility Promote and execute portfolio selling of our product range Focus on dormant plant activation and replacement of competitor products in the sub-region Ensure compliance with all company processes and procedures Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field (MBA is a plus) Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in control valves for the Power and Oil & Gas industries Proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing market share Strong understanding of control valve applications and technologies Excellent communication and negotiation skills Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, agents, and distributors Self-motivated with strong organizational and time management skills Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory Key Skills: Technical knowledge of control valves and related products Strategic account management Market analysis and competitor intelligence Sales forecasting and budgeting CRM proficiency Presentation and public speaking This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on our company's growth in key industrial sectors.
