People Solutions are recruiting for a 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver for our well-established client based in Barnsley.

Day to Day duties
Working as a 7.5 Tonne Home Delivery Driver your duties will include:
Working as part of a two-person team
Driving 7.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently
Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
Conducting pre and post vehicle inspections
Completing any paperwork
Transporting homeware goods
Making timely deliveries to customer's houses
Lifting and carrying
Abiding by driving rules and regulations
Following company policies and procedures
Being prepared to go the extra mile
Providing excellent customer service
Essential Skills
As a 7.5 Tonne Driver you will need to:
Have held a valid UK Category C1 Driving Licence for a minimum of three months
Hold a valid UK CPC card and Digi Card
No more than six penalty points for minor infringements
No major endorsement codes
Excellent communication skills
Good customer service skills
Must pass a driving assessment
Must undergo a drug and alcohol test
Desirable experience
Experience working as part of a two-person team conducting home deliveries is desirable but not essential
Training
On the job training will be provided
Regular drug and alcohol tests will be required
