Contract: 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday 8.30am-3.30pm) Term Time + Inset Days.
Fixed Term Contract until February 2026 (or return of post holder from maternity leave)
Salary: CLF 8 £27,964 - £30,146
Actual Salary: £22,651 per annum
Start Date: February 2024
We are looking for a Cover Supervisor to join our supportive and talented team at Bristol Metropolitan Academy. We are a diverse multi-academy trust, looking for professional and ambitious people, with a passion for transforming our students’ learning.
Your main duties will include:
To supervise whole classes and/or small groups during the short term absence of the timetabled class teacher, whether planned or un-planned absence.
Ensure students carry out the curriculum tasks set by the absent teacher, assisting them to understand the nature of the work set, managing student behaviour and minimising the impact of the teacher’s absence on their learning.
