Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and dynamic team responsible for cancer diagnostic services across Surrey and Sussex. The Surrey and Sussex Cancer Alliance is a partnership that brings together leaders from different hospital trusts and other health and social organisation and covers a population of approx. 3.6 million people. Our aim is to improve the diagnosis and treatment and care outcomes for cancer patients in Surrey and Sussex. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced programme director lead a large scale transformation programme within the Surrey and Sussex Cancer Alliance. The Programme Director will lead a range of projects that will improve and transform cancer services and outcomes for cancer patients across the alliance. Main duties of the job The Programme Director will work with system leaders from across all healthcare sectors to drive forward evidenced based and clinically led improvements and embed best practice within patient pathways. This role will work to identify issues and devise solutions across all stages of the patient pathway through primary care, diagnostics, treatment and post treatment. You will develop an excellent relationship with clinical and administrative leadership and multi-disciplinary teams across the region to enable delivery of programmes of work that improve diagnostic services.
