SEND Learning Support Assistant - ASC, SEMH Type: Permanent Hours: Full-Time Location: Bridgwater Start: 21/04/2025 Salary: £20,343 - £28,669 Elementa are recruiting for an SEND Learning Support Assistant to join the team at this special school for children with SEND predominantly relating to ASC and SEMH. This specialist education provider supports students across the primary and secondary phases and use a therapeutic approach to supporting learners. All students have an EHCP which commonly relates to any/all of SEMH, ASC and anxiety. The organisation focus on a holistic and creative education approach in order for learners to achieve their full potential whilst in this special school. The school has been completely renovated within the last 3 years and offer a stunning workplace. They support learners aged between 5 - 18 The school operates over 2 sites, have an onsite farm and the latest addition is an onsite coffee shop. The successful applicant will be expected to safeguard students’ welfare, promote and support the educational and therapeutic needs of the students, collaborate with teaching colleagues and support learners using a bespoke curriculum & resources.
