Are you an adaptable and proactive Data Analyst with strong SQL skills who thrives in a dynamic, hands-on environment? We're looking for a Business Data Analyst / Analyst Developer who can dive deep into data challenges and work across a spectrum of responsibilities—from analysis to development.
About the Role:
In this role, you will work closely with business and technical teams, translating complex and sometimes incomplete business requirements into technical solutions. This isn't your typical black-and-white job; we need someone comfortable with ambiguity, eager to roll up their sleeves, and driven to explore and solve real data problems. The focus will be on a data warehouse project & data analysis as part of a larger transformation project.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform in-depth data analysis, especially in SQL, and work within a data warehouse environment focused on migration and transformation—not just reporting.
2. Translate ambiguous business requirements into clear technical specifications.
3. Engage actively with business stakeholders across collections, recoveries, or risk spaces, applying knowledge to support data migration and integration tasks.
4. Act as a collaborative partner across teams, with a proactive and outgoing approach to solving problems.
5. Investigate data inconsistencies, analyze processes, and provide innovative solutions to complex data challenges.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience in a Data Analyst or Analyst Developer role, ideally within collections, recoveries, or risk-related fields.
2. Advanced SQL skills with experience in a data warehouse environment.
3. Strong business engagement abilities; this is not a role for the shy or faint of heart. We need someone ready to ask questions and make an impact.
4. Ability to handle complexity and navigate through ambiguous requirements with confidence.
5. Collections and recoveries experience is a huge plus, but candidates with risk experience will also be highly regarded.
