Industry Skills Required:
* An engineering background is required (time served or qualification)
* An understanding of engineering/ manufacturing businesses is crucial, as you should be comfortable navigating the complexities of projects from their inception to their successful completion.
* Your expertise will be vital in assessing project requirements and delivering tailored engineering solutions that meet client expectations.
Experience in Sales Leadership:
* A minimum of ten years in sales or business development within the manufacturing/engineering industry is required.
* Your experience should highlight your capability to not only identify and explore new market opportunities but also to effectively lead and expand our company's market presence.
* Proven track record of sales results.
Core Responsibilities:
* Strategically evaluate prevailing market trends to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies that align with our business goals.
* Use your existing networks to forge new connections, generate valuable leads, and ensure a robust pipeline of business opportunities.
* Organise and conduct regular meetings with potential clients to discuss their needs and how our services can meet those needs, thereby nurturing and solidifying long-term business relationships.
* Demonstrate persistence in follow-ups to convert leads into substantial and profitable contracts, thereby directly contributing to the company's revenue growth.
