The role of a Behaviour Support Mentor is to support children who struggle with Social, Emotional Mental Health & Special Education Needs. Across KS2, the school supports children who suffer with mild to extreme anxiety, depression, ODD, etc. The Head Teacher is seeking someone who is genuinely interested in and passionate about helping children with such struggles. The ideal candidate should be patient, kind, dedicated, and committed. Getting to know each student on a personal level is imperative. Training and support will be given to best help you support these children.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a psychology/criminology graduate who is keen to gain hands-on experience with different behaviours and mental health needs.
