I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious, award-winning client, based in Tunbridge Wells, for an Inventory and Purchasing Accounts Assistant to join my client’s team on a part time basis.
Joining this successful and friendly team, the successful applicant will need to have prior experience in a transactional finance role, stock and inventory.
The successful applicant will be organised, able to work as part of a team as well as individually.
Key Job Duties:
Inventory Management:
1. Goods Return Note processing
2. Management of rental stock panels (maintained in Excel, inventory entered into ERP)
3. Creation of perpetual inventory count cards
4. Reviewing and processing perpetual inventory count cards
5. Management of roll cutting process in ERP system
6. Transfer of inventory from offsite locations
7. General stock queries
Purchasing:
8. Maintaining stock levels of some products (Excel based analysis, ERP Purchase orders)
9. Purchase order general queries
Key Requirements:
10. Ability to work in Excel and good computer literacy
11. Flexibility to adapt to new processes and open mindedness
12. Proficiency in accounting software and administration skills, experience with Sage 200 is a plus.
13. Good communication skills.
14. An ability to prioritise and manage expectations, and work under tight deadlines.
