We’re looking for a Tenancy Coordinator to join our Allocations & Lettings team in Bradford. About the role and person: 35 hours per week 1 Permanent and 1 12 month FTC position Always motivated to achieve brilliant standards of service, our Tenancy Coordinators are responsible for effectively marketing our empty homes in a fair and transparent way and ensuring the successful on-boarding of new customers. You’ll maintain a good working knowledge of Accent’s property portfolio and local area insights so that you can advertise properties through the best channels. Moving into your new home should be an exciting experience so you’ll work closely with our customers, providing support with the application process, keeping them up to date with their progress and ensuring they feel fully informed throughout their journey. Empathy and discretion are key as you'll discuss each customer's circumstances in detail to assess their eligibility and signpost them to any support services they may need. It's a challenging but rewarding role. Resilience is a key trait as some conversations may not result in a tenant sign up. You'll need to be highly organised to ensure we're speaking to the volume of customers needed to convert a void into a customers new home. Salary The spot salary for this post is £28,228 per annum for applicants who fully meet the requirements of the post. Applicants, who do not meet all the requirements of the post, will start 5% or 10% below the spot salary. What will you get from us? Experience in lettings or allocations, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and operational requirements. Proven experience building successful working relationships with external partners, particularly within the housing sector. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work with stakeholders at all levels. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office applications and specific business software. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities effectively. Strong record-keeping skills with knowledge of GDPR. CIH Level 3 Certificate in Housing Practice or equivalent (or willingness to work towards) or qualified through experience. Location The successful candidate will be required to live within a commutable distance to our Bradford office as this post requires you to be on-site at least 2 days a week.
