The post holder will provide a Clinical Pharmacy service to a defined specialty on a temporary basis. They will deputise for the Lead Directorate Pharmacist in the delivery of the directorate responsibilities and duties and will assist in providing and maintaining a safe and efficient pharmaceutical service to a cohort of patients in accordance with Trust policies. They will support and supervise less experienced pharmacists on rotation. They will deliver, develop and evaluate specialist clinical pharmacy services in accordance with the objectives set by their section lead.
Each rotation has been designed to develop clinical, specialist and leadership skills, ensuring the development of a well-rounded and capable pharmacist. Rotations may include:
1. Acute Medicine
2. General Medicine
3. Surgery
4. Elderly care
Requirements:
* Must have NHS clinical experience
