Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage building surveying projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
* Provide expert advice on building conditions, defects, dilapidations, and refurbishments.
* Conduct detailed surveys, inspections, and reporting on various property types.
* Manage stakeholder relationships, including clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth project execution.
* Oversee and contribute to the preparation of technical reports, schedules of work, tender documents, and budgets.
* Support the development of new business opportunities and assist in expanding the firm's portfolio of clients.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
What We re Looking For:
* MRICS (or equivalent) qualification with significant experience in building surveying.
* Strong technical knowledge of building construction, surveying practices, and industry regulations.
* Proven ability to manage complex projects and build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
* Ambitious and self-motivated with a passion for delivering high-quality results.
* Experience in managing a team or mentoring junior surveyors (desirable, but not essential).
