Join RWE Offshore Wind for a Year in Industry placement and gain invaluable insight into this innovative sector. We are one of the largest developers of offshore wind globally, with 10 operational offshore wind farms across the UK and multiple development projects in the pipeline.
About the role
* Gain valuable knowledge and experience in:
o Developing Operations & Maintenance (O&M) concepts for future wind farms
o Using tools and processes in project management of infrastructure projects
o Hands-on experience in Offshore Engineering and working on turbines, including necessary training to be allowed offshore
* Actively support the team by:
o Leading your own project focused on the design and delivery of an O&M Infrastructure construction project
o Developing strategy for infrastructure delivery at future RWE wind farms
Job requirements and experience
* You are an enrolled student in one of the following degree courses: Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Project Management
* Your degree course is eligible for a year in industry placement
* You are on track to graduate with a 2.1 or higher
* You have very good verbal and written communication skills
* You can coordinate your own workload and meet tight deadlines
* You are comfortable working in a diverse team environment and dealing with a range of stakeholders
* You are open to travel to other sites if needed (travel expenses covered)

Advantageous, but not essential
* You have training or experience in Infrastructure projects, Construction management, Project management, Infrastructure design/architecture, or site-based work
