Role Overview The Sales Research Specialist (NHS) will play a pivotal role in driving EBO sales efforts within the NHS by conducting in-depth research into NHS organisational structures and key stakeholders. This role supports the sales team with actionable insights, enabling targeted outreach and effective engagement strategies. You will be at the intersection of market research and sales enablement, helping to uncover opportunities, streamline lead generation, and build a robust understanding of NHS frameworks to align our solutions with client needs. Key Responsibilities Market and Organisational Research Map NHS organisational structures, including Trusts and ICSs (Integrated Care Analyse NHS hierarchies and operational models to inform sales strategies. Identify and document key decision-makers and stakeholders within NHS organisations. Sales Support and Insights Provide the sales team with detailed profiles of NHS organisations and contacts. Develop and maintain a database of NHS structures and stakeholders to support targeted outreach. Monitor NHS policy changes, funding allocations, and new initiatives relevant to EBO solutions. Lead Generation and Qualification Identify potential leads within NHS organisations based on research and analysis. Support the qualification of leads by providing relevant background information and insights. Collaboration and Reporting Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align research insights with sales campaigns and messaging. Prepare regular reports and presentations on NHS market trends, organisational updates, and sales opportunities. Qualifications and Experience Essential Skills: Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to synthesise complex information. Knowledge of the NHS, its structure, and its operational frameworks. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g. Hubspot) and data analysis platforms. Detail-oriented and highly organised with a focus on delivering actionable insights. Desirable Experience: Previous experience in a research, sales, or business development role focused on healthcare or public sector organisations. Understanding of conversational AI or healthcare technology solutions. Familiarity with NHS procurement processes and decision-making hierarchies. Key Competencies A solution-oriented mindset.
