Trainee Traffic Installation Technician Gloucestershire, United Kingdom (On-site)
Telent is looking for a Trainee Traffic Installation Technician to join our team of Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting specialists in Gloucestershire. This field-based role requires the applicant to hold a full UK driving license and be willing to travel across the region and work in all weather conditions.
Are you interested in developing hands-on experience in the field? Do you have electrical installation knowledge or experience? Do you possess an Electrical Engineering diploma or certificate and want to start a new career? We offer an accredited, structured training program to develop your skills.
Join our Engineering Team at Telent to work on complex, critical infrastructure projects, collaborating with technical experts and making a significant impact.
What you’ll do:
Work closely with experienced Traffic Engineers to install, maintain, and test Traffic Signals / Traffic Lighting units and electrical components in Gloucestershire. Training includes on-the-job learning, desk-based, and online modules, progressing towards NVQ Level 2 and 3 in Highways Electrical Installations, and certifications like ECS and NHSS Chapter 8.
