NXT Recruitment are looking for a highly skilled and motivated IT Technician to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in delivering technical support, resolving complex IT issues, and ensuring the seamless operation of clients' IT infrastructures.
Key responsibilities
1. Deliver second-line technical support for both hardware and software-related issues.
2. Diagnose and resolve network and server-related challenges.
3. Assist with the setup, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of IT systems.
4. Continuously monitor and manage systems and networks to ensure peak performance.
5. Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects and system upgrades.
6. Ensure adherence to company policies and industry standards.
7. Offer excellent customer support and service to clients.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for users, providing both remote and on-site assistance.
Skills/Experience
1. Prior experience in IT support or help desk roles is a must.
2. Demonstrated expertise in a 2nd line support capacity, ideally within a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or Cybersecurity-focused setting.
3. Solid understanding of Windows-based operating systems.
4. Knowledge of cybersecurity practices and security protocols.
5. Hands-on experience with network diagnostics and server administration.
6. Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
7. Comfortable working autonomously as well as within a team environment.
8. Strong written and verbal communication abilities with a focus on collaboration.
9. Background in customer service is advantageous for delivering a positive user experience.
