Due to continued growth, our client-an independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors with a team of over 50 professionals-is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their dynamic team. They provide audit, accounting, and tax services to a varied client portfolio, primarily consisting of owner-managed and family businesses across Yorkshire.\n\nThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse client base, build long-term relationships, and provide a comprehensive range of tax services while delivering exceptional client service. The role will involve overseeing a team of six, with a hands-on approach to both compliance and advisory work.\n\nCorporate Tax Manager Job Overview\n\nProvide expert tax planning and compliance advice on employment tax matters and corporate tax issues.\nAct as the primary point of contact for clients on all tax-related queries.\nIdentify and advise clients on tax planning opportunities and implications.\nReview and oversee the preparation of corporate tax returns and computations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.\nAssist with tax audits and investigations, liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.\nLead and mentor a team of six, providing guidance and support in both compliance and advisory work.\nStay up to date with evolving tax legislation to provide proactive advice.\nEngage in business development, identifying opportunities to expand the firm's client base.
