Location: Liverpool (with some ADHOC travel to London) Lime Pictures, producers of some of the UK’s most successful family programming for Netflix, Disney, Channel 4, BBC and Viacom, have a rare opportunity for a Script Editor to cover a period of maternity leave for 6 months starting in January/February 2025, primarily based out of our Liverpool office, with the possibility of some hybrid working. Reporting into Executive Producers, Angelo Abela and Tim Compton, and working alongside one other in-house Script Editor, you will be responsible for script editing, pitch writing and researching for priority projects in development and attending key partner scriptwriting/storyboarding and editorial sessions. You will be an experienced Script Editor who can confidently instruct, inform and engage with external creative stakeholders. You will need a creative and innovative flair and fastidious eye for detail when reviewing and revising pitches. You will regularly brief and update the wider Lime Scripted team on new projects and progress, flagging any potential issues or queries to the team for discussion where appropriate – always coming equipped with creative solutions. You will regularly investigate, uncover and target writers, ideas, novels and scripts that could be made into a successful drama series by Lime Pictures. A keen awareness of media trends and engagement with the wider cultural landscape is also expected and hugely beneficial to this role and the wider team/mission.
