Responsibilities:
1. Assist solicitors in preparing and managing commercial litigation cases.
2. Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, briefs, and discovery requests.
3. Maintain and organise case files, documents, and evidence.
4. Communicate with clients, experts, and other parties involved in litigation.
5. Attend court hearings and trials as required, assisting solicitors in the presentation of cases.
6. Draft correspondence and reports, ensuring all documents are accurate and timely.
7. Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and court procedures.
Requirements:
1. A degree in law or equivalent qualification (essential).
2. Previous experience in a paralegal role, preferably in Commercial Dispute Resolution.
3. Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal research databases.
6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
7. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning and development.
