Join JLR as Manufacturing BOM Supervisor and be at the forefront of revolutionizing manufacturing processes with the introduction of 3DExperience. Your role will be critical in ensuring a successful transition and enabling the company to achieve new heights of efficiency and excellence. The manufacturing release operations team is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and release of the Manufacturing Bills of Material for each phase and gateway of the product through the vehicle lifecycle. The MBOM Supervisor is responsible for the manufacturing bill of materials team. They should have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of which parts/commodities are fitted to which specifications of vehicles. They have a direct impact on vehicle build quality and success at the Manufacturing plants.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
* Coordinate the MBOM team to meet operational objectives and SLA's.
* Identify discrepancies between EBOM and MBOM and resolve them in collaboration with Engineering and Product Information team.
* Support production and manufacturing teams by providing accurate BOMs with deviation/alerts parts when needed.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the manufacturing plan graph is aligned to the JLR Plant pre-build events.
* Prepare reports and metrics on MBOM accuracy, adherence to SLAs, and release timeline for management review and implement best practices for MBOM activities.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a MBOM role within the automotive sector.
* Experience with one of the following: DELMIA/SAP/3DX/PLM/WERS/GSPAS/CMMS3.
* Engineering process or release experience to tight deadlines and SLA's.
* Experience in managing or leading a team and supporting junior team members.
* Solid understanding of manufacturing processes in the automotive industry.
