Join a leading, independent, finance provider in Central London specialising in fast and flexible bridging loans and buy-to-let mortgages. With a robust presence in the market, we are expanding and seeking a talented Loan Portfolio Manager to join our dynamic team.
The Role:
MFS are recruiting a Relationship Manager to join our team in Central London and provide an excellent level of customer service to both current, and former clients on future lending possibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* To engage with lapsed/former MFS borrowers with a view to funding current or future lending requirements.
* To engage with current MFS borrowers who may require funding for different or new upcoming projects & to assist with re-financing current loans and by switching them between current MFS products (retention).
* To act as a point of contact for existing borrowers within the MFS loan book with a view to supporting queries or additional borrowing requirements (reactive).
* To actively engage with all borrowers within the portfolio to help them to understand the support you can offer (proactive).
* Conduct regular check-ins with clients to ensure their needs are being met and identify opportunities for additional services.
* To work closely with the loan portfolio management team to prioritise client engagement, based on loan positions and requirements.
* Assist in the creation and delivery of incremental reports for the Head of Compliance and Senior Management & Relationship Managers on key market trends and challenges.
* Maintain the detailed pipeline of future lending opportunities and activity & completed cases to prioritise client contact.
Role Requirements
* Previous experience in dealing with property finance.
* Experience in dealing with bridging loans and buy-to-let finance is highly desirable.
* At least 2 years of experience in a financial services role, ideally within a lending environment.
* Experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
* Demonstrable experience in processing and managing loan applications, including documentation and compliance.
