Job Title: Customer Support Assistant/ Order Processor

Contract Details: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: £28,000-£32,000
About Our Client:
Our client, an organisation in the construction industry, is seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Customer Support Assistant to join their dynamic Customer Services team. With a strong reputation for delivering exceptional customer service, our client takes pride in creating positive relationships with their customers.
Responsibilities:
1. Efficiently handle and process customers' orders via telephone, email, and quote conversion.
2. Maintain accurate sales and customer records, updating them regularly.
3. Keep customers informed of anticipated delivery dates and provide alternative product choices when necessary.
4. Assist customers with transport options, costs, and special item orders.
5. Stay updated with products, attend team meetings, and contribute to reports.
6. Schedule works orders and pick small orders from the warehouse when required.
7. Provide excellent customer service through effective communication and problem-solving.
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
1. Proven experience in sales administration, sales support, and/or customer services.
2. Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
1. Familiarity with sales performance metrics and reports.
2. Knowledge of Order Works (training provided).
3. Experience with order picking (training provided).
