Job Description
We are looking for a Vocational Nursing Instructor to join our team. Part-time hours weekly around 24 hours. Flexible schedule with a mix of clinicals, didactic and theory in classroom. Morning, evening, and weekend courses and clinicals available. Hourly rate is $47-$51 depending upon experience and education.
Qualifications
* Make continuous efforts to improve quality of instruction by reviewing and utilizing different and innovative methodologies/techniques in teaching.
* Demonstrate or be willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learning.
* Assist with reviewing and revising the syllabus for specific courses within the program and instructional guidelines.
* Submit required program reports and forms to the Director of the program in a timely manner.
* Keep current with new technologies and safety regulations.
* Maintain student records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms and assist with program data collection that meets set due dates and deadlines.
* Assist with updating and maintaining student files as it relates to clinical requirements, immunizations, and educational requirements.
* Teach courses at a variety of times and locations in response to program needs.
* Teach both lecture content and clinical rotations (clinical rotations can be days, evenings, on weekdays and/or weekends).
* Participate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure and take responsibility for staying current with college updates.
* Actively participate in committees as assigned, based on availability, considering teaching responsibilities as a priority.
