WHAT will I get from working with Church Pharmacy?
* EARN: £7.55 per hour, 40 hours per week
* EXPERIENCE- your hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
* QUALIFICATION: AAT Level 2 takes approximately 16 months.

WHAT will my DAY look like?
Whilst studying for your AAT Level 2 qualification, you’ll handle essential financial tasks, from processing transactions to managing accounts, while contributing to the smooth operation of the finance department. They offer a collaborative environment where you can enhance your skills and build a solid foundation for your career in finance, all while supporting a forward-thinking company that’s committed to innovation and excellence in healthcare. Your daily tasks will include:
* Processing of purchase invoices, and data entry.
* Accounts receivable (end to end), including aged debtors reporting and credit control.
* Accounts payables (end to end) including preparing bank payment files, daily weekly and monthly payment runs and card payments.
* Assisting with monthly management accounts and year end accounts.
* Bank reconciliations including foreign currency.
* Finalising VAT return for Senior manager review, chasing outstanding invoices and receipts.
* Liaising with other departments effectively.
* Daily sales reporting.
* Assisting with Payroll and expense claims, and journals.
* Ad hoc finance and admin tasks, including scanning, filing etc.
* Monthly customer statement run.
* Minimum of 6 hours per week spent on apprenticeship work and training.
HOW does the Apprenticeship work?
Working towards your Level 2 AAT Qualification you’ll attend monthly online 1-2-1 meetings (online via teams every month – NO classroom OR college!) with your Tutor to learn Modules including general business, understanding your organisation, accounting systems & processes, basic accounting & ethical standards. You will be given a minimum of 3 hours per week to complete any apprenticeship work (assignments, research, and projects) and will receive at least another 3 hours of training from your employer. All apprenticeship work and training is completed in the workplace, during working hours.
The Level 2 AAT includes a Mandatory Qualification ‘Certificate in Accounting’ made up of 4 modules/exams including Introduction to Bookkeeping, Principles of Bookkeeping Controls, Principles of Costing & The Business Environment.
