Description: We are currently seeking a full-time Water/Wastewater Engineer for our Rochester office to join our growing team of engineering professionals working to improve public infrastructure of our hometowns and throughout the northeast. Successful candidates will work within project-focused teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Civil engineering tasks
2. Engineering report preparation
3. Design calculations
4. Cost estimates
5. Fund / Grant Applications
6. Production of specifications and design drawings
7. Funding program and permit coordination / compliance
8. Construction phase engineering
Candidates will be responsible for managing and/or providing technical assistance to continually advance projects within scope, budget and schedule for all phases of water and wastewater projects.
Requirements:
1. B.S. in Civil/Environmental Engineering
2. 2-8 years of experience in the analysis and design of municipal water treatment and distribution systems, municipal wastewater collection and treatment systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
3. Registration as an Intern Engineer (I.E.) or Professional Engineer (P.E.) in NY is required.
4. Experience in the consulting engineering field is desired.
5. Proficient in technical writing and possess solid marketing and communication skills.
6. Ability to interact effectively with teammates, staff, and clients.
7. Experience in the preparation and presentation of proposals.
Estimated Pay Range: $75,000 - $100,000/year. Actual compensation may vary based on related work experience, geographical location and market conditions, education/training, certifications, and other credentials, as well as applicable knowledge and skills.
