Greenmount Primary School is a friendly, inclusive, culturally diverse and popular inner-city school in Beeston, South Leeds. We are a 2-form entry school with ages from 3-11. We are proud of our happy & well behaved pupils. We have a highly skilled and committed staff team whose well-being is prioritised. Our aim is for all of our children to gain independence and achieve well through an adventure in learning and develop the CLIMB values by the time they leave us in year 6. Our focus is that every child and their family will look back and recall their time at Greenmount, as a time of achievement and hard work but also of fun and friendships; a time during which they developed a thirst for knowledge and a passion for learning.
We are looking for an inspirational and dedicated Assistant Headteacher to join our leadership team at Greenmount Primary School. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years educator to have a significant impact on shaping the future of our school and its pupils. As the EYFS Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for Teaching and Learning in Early Years, you will play a pivotal role in driving high standards of education and ensuring that all our pupils receive the best possible learning experience. You will work closely with the Headteacher, senior leadership team, staff and parents to deliver a dynamic and forward-thinking curriculum that ensures all children thrive. You will be committed to ensuring you have a strong inclusive approach to teaching, including supporting those with special educational needs, EAL or from disadvantaged backgrounds.
As a leader you will support the Headteacher in shaping and executing the school’s vision and strategic goals. You will lead whole school initiatives to ensure school remains innovative and responsive to all needs of learners. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will inspire and motivate the staff and pupils you work with, as well as the wider community.
