Job summary Haematology is seeking a part-time experienced Medical Secretary to join our secretarial team. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and able to support the team to deliver a professional and responsive service to patients and professionals alike. A flexible approach to service demand is required Main duties of the job As a Medical Secretary you will provide a comprehensive secretarial service to the Consultant Haematologist including: Organise and reschedule haematology clinics and special haematological investigations, for in-patients and out-patients. You will organise in-patient treatment for patients, discharge summaries and follow-up appointments when required. You will provide secretarial cover for colleagues as required during holiday periods and sick leave, liaise with other departments and clients and be a pro-active team player.
