We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Planner to come and join our team on our Pathfinder Atlas factory in Aldridge WS9 8BL. The successful applicant will report to the Engineering Manager, working closely with Engineering stores and Team leaders. To maximise performance of engineering operations, The Engineering Planner will be responsible for the work planning of the maintenance team and contract labour. The Engineering Planner is a day shift role and will work Monday to Friday (40 Hours per week). Specific Responsibilities I nclude: Leadership and organisation of engineering activities on shift inclusive of preventive and reactive activities, Ensure and promote a safe working environment and lead from the front, Key involvement with assisting the Engineering department in delivering their KPIs, Site contact for coordination of contractor work, to ensure safe and controlled activities are completed to the highest standards, To chair weekly scheduling meetings for planned activities with Engineering Manager and Team leaders, Produce reports for Engineering Manager and Engineering Team leaders, and assist with Continuous improvement methods, Control, populate and prioritise a work backlog for all maintenance activities or activities involving the engineering team on CMMS system, Key involvement with the implementation of a new CMMS system, Work closely with Engineering stores to ensure all work planned has the necessary items to complete, Key role in shutdown planning and organisation, to ensure fluid successful shutdowns, Deputise for Engineering Stores Coordinator in their absence, Participate in GEMBA walks prioritising health and safety, Working closely with Engineering Manager, Engineering stores Coordinator, and Engineering Team leaders to ensure Budgets are not exceeded, Working closely with Engineering Manager, Engineering stores Coordinator, and Engineering Team leaders to Budget for YR1, Organise and schedule all service contracts and statutory inspections are conducted within set time frame, Scheduling and organisation of Training with the Engineering Team leaders, Attend daily meetings as per line managers request, Ensure all RA and SSOPs are up to date and delegate responsibilities when needed, Deliver and maintain inductions for Engineering contractors and visitors, Flexible in the role to take on other responsibilities when required.
