Primary Responsibilities Manage the retail process being responsible for ordering the seasonal stock. Manage the delivery of the stock and sign off as received. Process retail orders through the approved PO & Retail system. Check orders to ensure complete and correct order meets presentation and quality standards. Monitoring inventory levels and reorder merchandise Follows all company policies and procedures, e.g., attendance, timekeeping, dress code, name badge, appearance Co-ordinate activities of players from check-in to the first tee - collecting greens fees, assigning golf buggies & club rentals, co-ordinating play and arranging practice range use when necessary. Responsible for maintaining / maximising tee sheets Greet members / guests utilising name where possible. Enhances the golf experience for our guests through friendly courteous service Provides information and directions to members/guests, answers phone calls, and takes reservations. Sells merchandise and services, such as golf equipment, apparel, golf lessons, memberships, and golf groups. “Up-sells” merchandise, services, and accessories. Manage first tee and monitor pace of play on the golf courses in co-ordination with Head Course Marshal & Artisans. Provide prompt service for all requests Total bill and accept payments and process through the POS system. To complete end of shift cashing up procedure and balances till to cashing up report Ensure all areas of the Golf Operations (Pro-Shop, Store-Room, Bag Store & Office) are presented to a high standard Open and close golf shop. Completes opening and closing procedures as per shift. Assist in the training and development of new or less experienced co-workers. Resolves problems arising from adverse weather conditions (e.g., frost delay, slow play, etc.) and reschedule tee times if deemed necessary Assist the management of rentals, sales and returns, restocking merchandise, and cleaning and straightening golf shop. Assist in creating and updating merchandise displays. Provides feedback to the Golf Manager regarding member/guest comments and requests. Performs other related duties as needed and/or assigned with the personal focus to stay active at all times. Actively assist the Golf Management Team in developing new leads for potential new business.
