Here at IMG we are pleased to announce that we are looking for a Travel Claims Administrator working on Hybrid Basis out of our Cardiff Office on a 4 month temporary contract working on a Full Time Basis, Monday to Friday with a competitive salary of 20,319.00 - £22,000 (Depending on Experience & Pro Rata). The Travel Claims Administrator act as the first point of contact for incoming calls, faxes & emails, referring where necessary to the appropriate Claims Handler.

What does a day in the life of a Travel Claims Administrator look like:
1. To act as the first point of contact for incoming calls, faxes & emails, referring where necessary to the appropriate Claims Handler
2. To set up new cases and claims on Trident Travel system whether notified by telephone, fax or email.
3. Various administrative duties such as external post, claims settlements (as advised) and attaching incoming mails to the correct area within the claims system
4. To verify policy issues and issue the correct claims forms.
5. To act in a support and administration role as directed by Claims Handlers
6. To ensure all internal and external communications are dealt with in a professional, disciplined and courteous manner at all times
7. To deal with enquiries from policyholders and clients on case related matters in a prompt, courteous and professional manner
8. To ensure that any information given is within the terms and conditions of the travel insurance policy
9. To ensure that all information obtained during a call is properly documented on the claim.
10. To be familiar with GR’s published service standards and to ensure that any support provided is done so in accordance with these
11. To ensure that all telephone calls made and received and all emails and faxes sent and received are annotated on the relevant system
12. To carry out any other tasks as agreed with your Supervisor or the Head of Operations
What We`re Looking for:
13. Previous insurance/assistance experience or similar (Preferred)
14. Strong written and verbal communication, delivered in a clear and professional manner
15. Strong problem solving skills
16. Computer literacy, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
17. A high level of accuracy.
18. Ability to work under pressure in a close knit team
19. Previous customer service experience in a similar role would be beneficial, but a positive, professional attitude and a desire to develop your skills are more important.
20. Fluent in English and an additional language (not essential)
21. Previous administration experience (Preferred)
22. Must be Flexible to start later and finish later in the day.
