This Business Transformation Manager sets the strategic direction for data & AI across the business. You will be responsible for working with business units to understand their strategic priorities and embedding change to maximize adoption of new processes, technology, and ways of working. In addition, you will be responsible for conducting appropriate impact and readiness assessments whilst assessing the technology landscape to understand the future skills required.
This role can be based in either Birmingham or Bristol
What you’ll be doing
* Review and assess the technology roadmap to identify initiatives that require change management efforts in line with unit & digital strategy and advise teams/units.
* Ensure alignment of transformation plans with group strategy and unit strategies as needed.
* Undertake and perform data-led analysis to build recommendations that drive decision-making and plans.
* Identify and remove obstacles to deliver transformation objectives, using escalation paths where necessary.
* Deliver change management activities and adopt, improve, and standardize frameworks to support goals and initiatives ensuring change is managed cohesively.
* Manage Business Change Coordinators across CFUs to ensure continuation of change management activities as products move into BAU.
* Define, engage, and align stakeholders in preparation for technology deployments to ensure highest adoption.
* Manage the engagement processes and inputs with stakeholders and collate CFU/CU priorities to drive business alignment and change.
* Conduct detailed discovery workshops to identify opportunities for change. Review current business initiatives and processes to identify and propose transformational opportunities.
* Conduct in-depth analysis of the technology landscape and assess the impact on people and processes whilst understanding future skills.
* Define adoption measurements to monitor change interventions efficiently, making adjustments where required.
* Collaborate with teams and partners to execute strategic recommendations that will be brought to market across multiple channels.
* Develop communication plans and materials to support adoption ensuring the right messages are delivered to the right audiences at the right time.
* Contribute perspectives to the broader team on how BT can enhance its strategic position in the market vs. competitors.
* Support Senior Manager with the completion of strategy recommendations with key stakeholders.

* Attention to detail is critical to ensure change efforts are handled appropriately to deliver high quality.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and market trends to lead strategic change.
* Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies.
* Understanding of technologies and interventions required to increase adoption to maximize value creation.
* Extensive experience of conducting detailed change impact and technology readiness assessments.
* Skilled in leading organizations through strategic and cultural change to deliver positive outcomes.
* Experience of navigating large, complex organizational structures and challenging the status quo.
* Experience in influencing and embedding change in a large organization.
* The ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences and articulate the business value of data.
* Experience in program management and business development or business operations.
* Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in technical product management, program management, or engineering.
* Familiarity with P&L statements and long-term cash flow projections/NPV.
