A well-established Fire & Security solutions provider based in Tamworth is seeking an experienced Fire & Security Project Manager to join their team. The company specialises in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, access control, and emergency lighting across commercial, industrial, and public sector projects.
The Role:
As a Fire & Security Project Manager, you will oversee multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest industry standards. Key responsibilities include:
1. Project Management: Overseeing fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV, and access control system installations.
2. Client Liaison: Acting as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met.
3. Site Coordination: Managing engineers and subcontractors, ensuring smooth workflow and compliance.
4. Compliance & Safety: Ensuring projects meet industry standards, including BS 5839, BS 5266, and NSI/BAFE regulations.
5. Technical Support: Providing expertise on system design, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
6. Financial Oversight: Managing budgets, procurement, and cost control for each project.
7. Reporting & Documentation: Maintaining accurate project records, site reports, and risk assessments.
What We're Looking For:
1. Proven experience in fire & security project management
2. Strong knowledge of fire alarms, security systems, CCTV, and access control
3. Understanding of industry regulations (BS 5839, BS 5266, NSI/BAFE)
4. Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively
5. Strong communication and client management skills
6. Full UK Driving License
