We have an opportunity for you to join our Colleague Experience team as an IT Network Engineer.
In this role, you’ll be working across a range of network and communication technologies liaising with multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems, and requests that will ensure the provision of specialist technical support across the end user environment.
Using an ‘always on’ mindset, you’ll be providing hands-on technical support, control, and maintenance to colleagues across the business, ensuring the delivery of service meets availability and usability requirements both now and into the future.
Some of your other accountabilities will include:
1. Providing on-site technical support and administration of Network technologies including LAN/WAN, Wireless, and security hardware.
2. Project input including design and implementation, documentation, and support.
3. 3rd line support for tickets from Service Desk and Opsbridge 24/7 team.
4. Configuration and support including Routers/Switches/APs.
5. Firewall Administration including Checkpoint, Cisco, and Azure.
6. Azure/Cloud networking including new configuration and updating of existing infrastructure.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE
To be successful, it’s expected that you’ll have experience of maintaining and supporting complex network environments and configurations.
You’ll join the team with the experience to provide hands-on support and delivery within several Technology areas, including:
In order to succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:
1. Firewall Administrator experience (Checkpoint/Cisco/Azure).
2. Knowledge of Cisco IOS network operating systems including both Catalyst and Nexus languages.
3. Security experience including VPNs, NAC, etc.
4. Wireless experience, preferably Cisco/Meraki.
5. Experience with physical network infrastructure and cabling standards.
6. Experience in IP Telephony ideally Genesys and/or Avaya.
7. Experience with Microsoft Azure network environment.
