Role objectives
The HR team nurtures a reputation of reliability, efficiency, and trustworthiness. The purpose of this role is to maximize positive employee relationships by:
1. Being the first point of contact for HR-related queries from managers and employees.
2. Displaying a positive, professional, and fair approach reflecting your status as custodian of the HR policies and procedures.
3. Providing a professional, ethical, exact, and timely administrative function, in accordance with Company procedures.
4. Continuously finding ways and methods to improve the HR function.
Key responsibilities:
1. Managing recruitment and staffing needs, including job postings, interviews, and hiring processes.
2. Overseeing employee onboarding, orientation, and training programs.
3. Ensuring compliance with labour laws and company policies.
4. Handling employee relations, addressing concerns, and resolving conflicts.
5. Maintaining employee records and HR databases.
6. Monitoring performance management systems, including appraisals and feedback.
7. Organising training and development programs for employee growth.
8. Managing employee leave, attendance, and time-off requests.
9. Supporting workforce planning and talent management strategies.
10. Providing guidance and support to managers on HR-related issues.
11. Conducting exit interviews and managing offboarding processes.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Strong administration skills with accuracy, attention to detail, and good numeracy skills.
2. Level 5 CIPD Qualification or equivalent experience.
3. Ability to perform duties to a high level of confidentiality.
4. Strong ethical standards.
5. Proficiency in HRIS platforms, ideally with ADP software.
6. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and excellent interpersonal skills.
7. Capable of building successful relationships and promoting good working relationships.
8. Flexibility and ability to adapt while balancing many demands and delivering under pressure.
9. IT literacy (MS Office, HR database systems).
