An exciting opportunity has becomeavailable in our Nephrology Department. We are looking for an enthusiasticperson with a flexible approach to join our Nephrology Administration Team asan Administration Assistant. Thesuccessful candidate will support the clinical and secretarial teams ensuringthat our patients have a first class service from the moment they make contactwith the service. The post will require some flexibility across the division tosupport service needs. The successful applicant will possess excellent audiotyping skills, supported by an RSA 2 qualification or equivalent qualificationor proven admin experience. Level 2 numeracy and literacy skills are essentialto the post and MUST be shown in your application, if these qualificationsarent listed your application you will not be shortlisted. Main duties of the job
The successfulapplicant will be motivated, enthusiastic and willing to work as part of ateam. Experience of audio typing and/orkeyboard skills are essential to the role. You will be able to demonstrateexcellent organisational skills and be able to communicate effectively and haveprevious experience in a busy office environment. As part of the role you willbe dealing with telephone/email queries, scanning, postal duties, bookingpatients in/out of the internal system and making any follow up appointments asrequired. The post is predominantly based at Sunderland however you would beexpected to cover other areas over both the Sunderland and South Tyneside sitesto support service needs. The post is hours per week working between thehours of and 5pm Monday to Friday.
