An exciting opportunity has arisen at the University Hospital of North Midlands to join the Respiratory Medicine team working at Royal Stoke University Hospital. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide care and diagnostic services for patients presenting with Respiratory illnesses.
The successful candidates will complement the 21 Respiratory Consultants and 10 SpRs (training and non-training) expertise working in this specialty. The department provides both an inpatient, outpatient, and day case Sleep & Ventilation Service, Interstitial Lung Disease, Cystic Fibrosis, Asthma, Lung Cancer, Pleural Procedures, and General Respiratory services across both our sites.
The Respiratory Department is the regional centre for interstitial lung disease and non-invasive ventilation. The department consists of 4 Respiratory Wards with 115 inpatient beds, including a 26-bedded Acute Lung Unit with 16 NIV beds, and 2 Respiratory Physiology Departments over 2 sites offering a range of lung function tests.
