Job summary We have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly team at Armley Medical Practice for a fixed term covering maternity leave. We are an expanding inner city training practice of over 170000 patients, using Emis as our clinical system. We are looking for a salaried GP to support our team whilst we have a GP on maternity leave. Our Clinical team consists of 7 partners, 5 salaried GPs, GP Trainee, 2 ANPs, 4 Practice Nurses, a Frailty Practice Nurse and 3 Health Care Assistants. Main duties of the job The post holder will deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients. We are looking for a 6 sessional GP to cover 8 - 6 on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. We operate morning and afternoon surgeries with a mix of telephone and face to face appointments, home visits when necessary, admin work and GPs are responsible for their own paperwork and review of results as well as supporting when needed to cover for colleagues on annual leave or sickness. We currently have a doctor on call morning and afternoon with a second doctor to support. It is important to maintain continued education through attendance at any courses and/or study days necessary to ensure that professional development requirements are met.
