Role Introduction
The Go To Market [GTM] Manager will lead the planning, execution and successful launch of software products and releases. This role involves cross-functional collaboration with a variety of functions including product, marketing, sales, engineering, training, customer support etc. to ensure our software releases align with business goals, delight our customers and are launched effectively. The role suits someone who has a proven background in a senior product management or product marketing role, strong project management skills and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Release / Go To Market process.
What You Will Do
* Develop and manage GTM Launch Readiness plans for software products/releases including timelines, milestones and deliverables
* Lead and manage complex GTM meetings adhering to best practice
* Collaborate effectively with cross-functional (senior) stakeholders ensuring launch related activities are proceeding to plan
* Create and distribute effective reports and dashboards to key stakeholders and leadership
* Ensure all necessary teams (e.g. Sales, Support) are prepared for the launch with appropriate training and materials
* Ensure all necessary systems are prepared for the launch
* Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies ensuring contingency plans are in place for potential delays or issues
* Track the performance of the launch through KPIs such as customer adoption, feedback, sales performance
* Provide post launch analysis and recommendations for future releases
* Implement feedback loops to refine and improve the launch readiness process
What You Will Have
* Advanced understanding and experience in a Product Manager or Product Marketing role
* Advanced understanding of software Go To Market processes
* Proven experience of successfully launching new software products and new software releases, preferably Software-as-a-Service
* Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile project management esp. Scrum methodology
* Advanced understanding of Product Lifecycle Management
* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization
* Ability to identify and mitigate risks, applying pragmatic prioritization and escalation
* Advanced understanding of using Aha! to manage projects and programme reporting
