An excellent opportunity has arisen for the role of GroupDirector of Estates and Facilities. Our Group is one of the largest acute andcommunity Group organisations in the NHS.
Weare now looking for a Group Director of Estates and Facilities whom can drivethis broad agenda, which covers all of Estates and Facilities and services,together with the responsibility for the delivery of the Groups significantcapital objectives.
Thisis an excellent opportunity for a high calibre Director who has a proven trackrecord of overseeing facilities services in a large complex organisation. Youwill have the opportunity to shape the future and transform how the serviceswill be delivered across the Group operating model.
Reportingthrough the Group Chief Financial Officer, providing assurance on strategic andoperational objectives, you will be a key member of the senior leadership teamas a Corporate Director. You will spearhead the establishment and delivery ofour estates and facilities management strategies.
Youwill both lead and influence within the Group, as well as with external systempartners, translating these strategies into tangible outcomes to empower ourpatients, service users and workforce.

Main duties of the job
Thisis a significant leadership opportunity. You must have substantial experience in leading estates and facilitiesservices, and be able to demonstrate how you have been involved with managingchange, developing strategy and providing high class services whilst managingcomplex budgets.
You must be able to develop effective partnerships, be able tounderstand the complexities of contract and commercial management, and beinnovative with problem solving. You will lead, develop, and motivate a large teamensuring support in the delivery of high-quality healthcare.
Applicantsrequire exceptional leadership qualities, commercial acumen, and exceptional relationshipmanagement skills. In addition, they must possess a strong businessunderstanding and credibility.
Youwill be passionate about delivering and influencing change, you will be anatural leader who will facilitate and support collaborative working bothinternally and externally to the Group.You will thrive on working at pace, have excellent attention to detailas well as be able to provide a helicopter view of issues within yourportfolio at any given time.
You will berequired to participate in the Gold on call rota as per the job description.
