We’re thrilled to have been awarded a 10-year Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract by WELP at the world’s first commercial scale plastic recycling plant and are now looking to form our amazing site team. Based in Teesside, you’ll be key in delivering excellence in safe, efficient operations and maintenance using HydroPRS™ technology to chemically recycle end-of-life plastic. Joining us as we commission and start up, your experience and contributions will see us achieve recycling of over 20,000 tonnes of waste plastic each year, with the scope for expansion as we grow. The Opportunity We are now recruiting for a Plant Manager to ensure compliance and delivery of the px Group Operating Standard through leadership, direction and management of strategy, actions and results. The Plant Manager will successfully lead, engage and manage the WELP management team in implementing the above. Minimum Requirements: HNC/D qualification in engineering/process (or equivalent) Successful management experience with leadership skills, team building and decision making skills. Working knowledge & application of quality / environmental system compliance, risk & improvement. Strategic contribution & experience in operations or engineering environments. Including contract management, client interface, Annual Operating Plan (AOP) management, team development & risk based decision making. Knowledge of relevant UK / European legislation & best practice for process plant operation.
