ASSISTANT TO THE TOWN CLERK 30 Hours per week – 5 days per week from 9.00am to 3.00pm Permanent Contract, £33,024 - £36,648 plus Local Government Pension Scheme Vacancy Details The opportunity to join a proactive, friendly and progressive Town Council to assist with the smooth running of its facilities and services. Previous experience and understanding of a local government context would be ideal but good organisational skills, the ability to think creatively and being able and willing to respond to pressures is crucial. The suitable candidate must be trustworthy, responsible, self-motivated, computer literate and able to deal with the public in a professional manner There is a requirement to attend some evening meetings. Full training will be provided as necessary for the right candidate.
