An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and enthusiastic administrator to join the Community Paediatric Administration Team in Bassetlaw Hospital.
This post is a permanent part-time position working 15 hours per week supporting the Community Paediatric clinical team.
The post holder will assist the Medical Secretary in providing an effective and efficient support service to clinical teams. The post holder will provide an efficient audio typing service to ensure that clinical correspondence and all associated actions have been actioned to ensure smooth progress throughout the patient pathway in line with clinical requests.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will assist the Medical Secretary to provide effective and efficient support to clinical teams, ensuring robust systems are in place for administrative management of patient pathways.
You will work flexibly as part of the team producing clinical correspondence using Medisec digital transcription software from outpatient attendances ensuring clinical line of priority and chronological order.
Knowledge of medical terminology is desirable alongside previous experience of working in a clerical administrative role. You will be required to promptly file correspondence and investigation results into case notes in line with the trust policy, ensure accuracy and recording of all clinical events as part of the patient pathway, and provide general administrative support where required across the whole team.

Knowledge and Experience
* Previous experience working in a clerical/administrative role

Qualifications/Training
* Minimum of 3 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade C or above or equivalent qualification
* OCR/RSA/NVQ Level II or completion of a Business Administrative Level II Apprenticeship or demonstrable equivalent qualification and experience in keyboard skills and typing
