Duties will include, but are not limited to: Booking appointments for patients following care navigation ensuring patients access the most appropriate services within the practice Scanning and workflowing incoming correspondence within the clinical system Dealing with general enquiries from patients and prioritising the management of these Dealing with repeat prescription orders and prescription queries Managing your time and workload efficiently Assisting with the smooth running of clinics and surgeries Providing help and advice to all visitors to the surgery and the building Registration of new patients to the Practice Process patients change of address and contact details within the clinical system Dealing with tasks that clinicians may assign to you in an effective and timely manner Covering colleagues shifts in the event of sickness or annual leave Effective communication between staff, the practice, patients and other agencies Understanding and implementation of the practice protocols and procedures Carrying out the daily tasks set for you by the Office Manager Attending training and staff meetings as required Supporting with other reasonable duties as required Follow the practices Infection Prevention & Control policies and protocols
