HamiltonJet is a highly respected international company and market leader in marine propulsion systems, serving high-profile clients globally. With a strong reputation for excellence, our products and services are trusted by boat builders, naval architects, and a wide variety of end-users in over 120 countries.
We are gearing up for a busy and exciting 2025, with a series of significant projects on the horizon. As a result, we are currently seeking a number of Engineering Trade Assistants (along with Trade Qualified and Experienced engineering disciplines). All our positions are on a fixed-term basis and we have opportunities across a variety of shifts.
We are currently in search of engineering trade assistants to complete fettling and deburring duties across our Foundries, Spray Painting, Machining, and Impellers departments. These are hands-on positions, using tools, and doing manual handling daily.
These positions would ideally suit someone who is looking for an entry-level on-the-tools engineering trade and looking to establish a career within the engineering or metal work industry. You may have already completed a pre-trade or have a passion and desire for all things mechanical, or perhaps you enjoy using a variety of hand tools at home and have a desire for making metal products.
Skills required:
* Good attention to detail and pride yourself on quality of work
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Commitment and willingness to work with Health and Safety requirements
* Proven hand tool experience is an advantage but not essential
* Must be physically fit
What we can offer you:
* Competitive pay rate, overtime rates, and allowances
* Fixed shift patterns, operating Monday to Friday (We do not operate with rotating shifts)
* Long-term career opportunities
* Commitment to ongoing training and development
* Opportunity to work for a respected international manufacturing brand and learn from the best
If you're someone who likes working with your hands, has an eye for detail, and is ready to leap into the New Year and take on a new challenge, then we'd love to hear from you.
