We are inviting applicants passionate about environmental mycoremediation to join our new team as Research Assistant or Research Fellow.
The newly established MCAM, expanded from the Applied Mycology Group, is expected to grow from four staff to 36 by 2031-32. We are recruiting outstanding research talent to support research across six core areas within our subject fields.
About the Role
This position supports academic colleagues within the Magan Centre of Applied Mycology (MCAM), actively involved in securing and delivering projects in Environmental Mycoremediation. You will be responsible for specific tasks within ongoing research initiatives funded by industry partners, the EU, and UKRI. The role may involve research and teaching, requiring organization, management, and coordination skills.
About You

Candidates should have a track record of achievements, including publications in leading peer-reviewed journals.
You should be able to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Flexibility, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities are essential, along with eagerness to contribute to the dynamic MCAM project.
